Subject কী? (What is a Subject?)
Subject হলো সেই অংশ, যে কাজটি করে বা যার সম্পর্কে বাক্যে কিছু বলা হয়।
📌 বাংলায় একে বলে "কর্তা"।
- I eat rice. (আমি ভাত খাই)
- She sings a song. (সে একটি গান গায়)

বাক্যে Subject কোথায় থাকে?
Subject সাধারণত ইংরেজি বাক্যের শুরুতেই থাকে:
Structure: Subject + Verb + Object
- He (subject) reads (verb) a book (object).
- They (subject) are watching (verb) TV (object).
Subject-এর প্রকারভেদ (Types of Subjects)
1️⃣ Simple Subject – শুধুমাত্র কর্তা
- John is a student.
- She dances well.
2️⃣ Compound Subject – একাধিক কর্তা
- John and Mary are friends.

Subject যদি একবচন হয়, Verb ও একবচন হবে। Subject যদি বহুবচন হয়, Verb ও বহুবচন হবে।

- They play cricket. (They = বহুবচন)
