Verb Phrase কী? (What is a Verb Phrase?)

Verb Phrase হলো এমন একটি শব্দগুচ্ছ যা বাক্যে Verb হিসেবে কাজ করে।

Definition:
A verb phrase is a group of words that functions as the verb in a sentence.

Verb Phrase-এ একটি Main Verb থাকে এবং তার সাথে এক বা একাধিক Auxiliary Verb থাকতে পারে।

Verb Phrase-এর সহজ উদাহরণ

• is going – যাচ্ছে
• has finished – শেষ করেছে
• will be coming – আসতে থাকবে
• had been working – কাজ করে যাচ্ছিল

Verb Phrase-এর গঠন (Structure of Verb Phrase)

Verb Phrase সাধারণত নিচের structure অনুসরণ করে:

Auxiliary Verb + Main Verb

• is / am / are + V-ing
• has / have / had + V3
• will / shall + V1

4. Interrogative Verb Phrase
